The Full Story
Born and raised in rural Colorado, Anthia Gillick was put on a horse at age three and never quite put her feet back on the ground after that, literally. She went on to become a professional aerialist, training a discipline that demands the same thing great acting does: complete surrender to the moment, and trust in your own body under pressure.
She knew she was meant to perform from the time she stepped on stage at six. But like many artists, the road between knowing and doing was long, crooked, and occasionally terrifying. It took becoming an entrepreneur, a cult survivor, an author, a federal witness, and eventually a mother, before she fully claimed the thing she'd always been meant to do.
"She's the character who destabilizes every scene she enters without trying to and can bring a slightly off-kilter energy into the room."
BEYOND ACTING
Beyond acting, Anthia writes, produces. She is actively pitching multiple projects including The Taste, a limited series she wrote based on her personal experience surviving and testifying against the OneTaste sex cult.
A Sony first-look producer has already expressed interest. She is, as they say, just getting started.

The Roles I Gravitate Towards
The Disruptor: She operates outside the expected social contract not from carelessness, but from a deeply rooted knowing. Spiritual. Unpredictable. The most pragmatic person in the room.
The Protector: Physically capable and emotionally complex. She's carrying something she survived, and that wound has sharpened her. Softness and capability exist simultaneously.
The Bohemian Baddie: She creates a gravitational pull, people feel seen, safe, heard. Beneath it, she's tracking everything. Always three moves ahead. The one you trust, who surprises you.
